We glorify God by following the example of Jesus, who despite being God, came as a servant.

Who we are and how we live is shaped by what we believe. The world teaches us to be selfish. To take what we can get. The Gospel teaches us to be servants. To make sacrifices of ourselves for the good of others. We glorify God by following the example of Jesus, who despite being God, came as a servant.

And Jesus called them to him and said to them, “You know that those who are considered rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them. But it shall not be so among you. But whoever would be great among you must be your servant, and whoever would be first among you must be slave of all. For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
— Mark 10:42-45 (ESV)

We want to create a community where the individuals use their gifts to serve each other for God’s glory (1 Peter 4:10). A community that encourages and supports each other through good works (Hebrews 10:24). The church exists to make disciples. One of the best ways to grow and live out discipleship is through volunteer opportunities.

Volunteer Areas

First Impressions

Our first impressions team help make connections with attendees for our weekend services. They serve on a weekly or monthly basis. Their role is to help make CFCC feel like home. We want all our attendees to be comfortable and feel wanted as they search for or engage in church community. The first impressions team greets people before services, helps them find seats when needed, can help answer questions, and serves communion.

Our Kid’s world program engages 1st-4th graders during weekend worship services through singing, stories, teaching God’s truth, and activities. Volunteers can help lead small groups, provide assistance, check kids in, or help with games and other activities.

Lead a Small Group

Groups provide the opportunity for the church to do life together, grow together, and become more like Jesus together. Being a part of a church is not just about gathering once a week but about building real relationships. We provide short term and long term groups. Group Leaders will lead and oversee groups of 10-15 people, develop leaders, invite new people, and challenge the group to do its unique part in advancing the Kingdom of God.

Our production team works to keep the technology running smoothly. They are involved with everything from lights, to screens, to sound. They work along side the worship team to help create a powerful experience for our attendees. The production team are some of our first to arrive for weekend services to set up and work with rehearsals to ensure a distraction free experience.

Sports Ministry

One of our largest community outreach opportunities comes through our Sports Ministry. We host basketball, baseball, football, and cheerleading every year, bringing thousands of students and families onto our campus. Volunteers in this ministry can coach, assistant coach, Chaplin, or help set up for games and other sports ministry events.

Volunteers in our Pre-school ministry (nursery – K) have the opportunity to care for our youngest family members during weekend worship. For those who love working with kids from babies to toddlers, the pre-school ministry provides great opportunities to care for and invest in the children of the church. They can help with games and activities, teaching, and care. Volunteers can provide assistance to teachers, help check kids in, or help set up materials for the weekend services.

Student Ministry volunteers have the opportunity to build relationships with students through Sunday morning group time, home groups, and our monthly UNITE service. They get to minister and mentor students through the teaching of Scripture, worship, and relational discipleship. Volunteers have the opportunity to help lead students, set up for events, and see life transformation in our student ministries.

Taking care of the facilities God has blessed us with is important. We want to be good stewards of our property. Our facilities are a big part of our first impressions and provide us with the opportunity to share the Gospel. The facilities team takes care of the buildings and grounds of the church to keep things looking great. They maintain and clean the building as well as work on repairs and improvements.

Worship Team

Volunteers on our Worship Team will use their musical gifts and abilities to lead the church in worship through song. For those with a talent and passion for music and the ability to sing, play an instrument, or perform in other artistic areas, the worship team provides a great way to serve. One of the most important things we do is to worship - recognizing who God is and reminding ourselves that we are not Him.
